In short
A 3D virtual tour lets buyers walk through a home on a screen. Yavay Studio builds one from the listing's floor plan: it renders a photoreal 360° view in every room, furnished and finished the way you choose, and puts those views and a 3D floor plan on one link buyers open in any browser. No 360 camera or site visit is needed.
Two ways to build a tour
Render the plan when you need a tour without visiting, or scan the real rooms when you are on site.
From the floor plan
Upload the listing's floor plan image and Studio traces the walls at the printed dimensions, or draw the rooms yourself. Furnish and finish them, then render a photoreal 360° view in each room. Works for vacant homes, new construction and remodel pitches, and nobody has to visit.
From an iPhone scan
Walk each room with a LiDAR iPhone in the Yavay app: it maps the walls, windows and doors, then guides a photo sweep. Yavay builds a 360° tour of the real rooms that buyers can step between. Ask us to try it on a listing.
How a floor-plan tour works
- 1Add the floor plan
Upload the listing's floor plan image. Studio vectorizes the walls and scales them to the printed room dimensions. No plan? Draw the rooms.
- 2Furnish and finish it
Place furniture from the catalog and pick floors, walls and cabinetry, or keep it simple. Every room big enough to stand in gets a viewpoint.
- 3Render the walkthrough
Studio renders a photoreal 360° view from each viewpoint. A four-room home takes about three minutes.
- 4Share one link
Buyers get the 360° views and a 3D floor plan in any browser. Put the link on the listing, in emails and on social, or embed it on your site.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 3D virtual tour?
A 3D virtual tour lets buyers move through a home on a screen instead of flipping through flat photos. A Yavay tour is a 360° view from a standing spot in each room plus a 3D floor plan, all on one link that opens in any browser.
Do I need a 360 camera or a scanning visit?
No. In Yavay Studio the tour is rendered from the listing's floor plan: upload the floor plan image (or draw the rooms), furnish it, and render. Nobody has to visit the property.
Is a rendered tour the same as a scan of the real home?
No, and buyers should be told which one they are looking at. A rendered walkthrough shows the floor plan furnished and finished as you set it up, which suits vacant homes, new construction and renovation pitches. A scan (Matterport, or Yavay's iPhone capture in early access) records the rooms as they are today. Label rendered or staged views the same way you label virtually staged photos.
Do buyers need an app or a VR headset?
No. Buyers tap the link and the tour opens in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
How long does it take?
Once the plan is set up, rendering takes about three minutes for a four-room home, because every room renders at the same time.
Can I scan the real home with my iPhone?
iPhone capture is in early access. It uses the iPhone's LiDAR scanner to map each room and a guided photo sweep to build a 360° tour of the actual rooms. Contact us if you want to try it on a listing.
Is this a Matterport alternative?
For marketing a listing's potential, often yes. For a measured, as-is record of the home with dollhouse views and MLS-ready links, Matterport is still the standard. See the full comparison on our Matterport alternative page.
Can I put the tour on my website?
Yes. Share the link anywhere, or embed it in a page with an iframe so buyers can explore without leaving your site.
